Welcome to episode 92.
Oageng Modise from South Africa is my guest today. He is a PhD student in entomology, which is the study of insects. In this episode, we learn about his scientific journey, which began at undergraduate level with Zoology and Biology. We learn about his current PhD research project, which focuses on fly pollination. Oageng tells us about this project and its significance. We then discuss the lack of representation of people of color in the field of entomology, as well as his suggestions for how we can get more people involved.
Stay tuned as we hear about this and more.
