Qhelile Bhebhe from Zimbabwe currently in South Africa is my guest today. She's a PhD student in Food security at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. In this episode, we learn her influences that made her get into science. She takes us on a journey about the process of her applying for her PhD program and the tribulations and how she overcame it. She then discusses her PhD study that is an analysis of the role of trees in green spaces on ecosystems, livelihoods and food security.
