 My guest is Patrick Musau. He identifies as Kenyan but also grew up in Ethiopia, Rwanda, and Tanzania. Currently, he is a PhD student at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, USA. In this episode, we learn about how he always had a great fascination with technology from a young age. Now, in his PhD, Patrick is working on problems related to ensuring that autonomous systems operate safely and function as intended. He applies these techniques to autonomous remote-controlled cars and drone applications. Autonomous systems are an exciting area and have the potential to revolutionize industries, and we discuss how close we are to this from actually happening. Lastly, we delve into the personal experience of how he has dealt with feelings of self-doubt during his journey and so much more! Stay tuned
