My guest today is Asafu Thomas born in Liberia, raised in the USA and currently residing in Tanzania. This episode is a little bit different as we find out the unique root of Asafu science as he actually started as a biology major and later switched to economics and finance. He went on to work in the digital marketing space where he actively started thinking about starting his own business. He started various other companies on his journey as an entrepreneur, one of those being Naya-Labs. A company outsourcing development work to engineers on the African Continent where he's the CEO. He tells us more about the work and how it was the genesis for him to be a co-founder for Built in Africa(BIA) . "A platform to connect trailblazers of the African diaspora through the unifying language of technology". We find out more about BIA's work and the various projects they are working on.
