In July , for example , the theme was agriculture , productivity and climate change . We spoke with Professor Tafadouma Baudi , an associate professor at the University of Quazulinatal and the director for the Center of Transformative Agriculture and Food Systems .

You start together in understanding the issues together , because we understand things differently . So you want to bring in those multiple perspectives of how do we understand things . They move towards a shared understanding . They move towards now code developing and code designing the solutions . Then you implement the solutions together , assess together and you move towards the answer together .

We increasingly are moving how we think about access to something that is so convenient and simple and easy and that strips out the stigma that often exists in our health system or in some of the other areas . We work to put the user at the center of what we design . We will often do market research with end users who are affected by these diseases to tell us how do they do that , how do they want to access this ? What do you make the most sense for them ?

The future . Themes for the series we plan to explore are maternal health , gender equality , HIV and TB . You will notice that some months may feature a single theme , where other months might overlap multiple themes .
